AFRC Highlight: Hale Koa Hotel

Army Family and MWR provides the most comprehensive programs for our military service members and their Families. The Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRC) are located in areas around the world so Soldiers and their Families can get away and relax. AFRCs offer fun activities, community events, health and fitness programs and education awareness, and our infamous AFRC community.

When it’s time to take a vacation, we have the place to go.

Hale Koa

Aloha! This is what you will hear when you come Hawaii. Your vacation begins the moment you step foot inside The Hale Koa Hotel. If you have never been to Hawaii before, you are in for the time of your life. The Hale Koa Hotel in Hawaii is located on Waikiki Beach. If lounging on the beach isn’t your thing, the hotel provides various activities:

  • Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Surfing
  • Outdoor racquetball
  • Swimming
  • Massages
  • Hale Kola Hotel fitness center
  • Fine dining
  • Golf

There is in-house entertainment: magic shows, singing and dancing. Visit the military exchange, the onsite gift shop, and pickup a few items to take back home. The Hale Koa Hotel has a lot of fun and exciting activities in store for its guests.

Stick around for the biggest event of the season. Oktoberfest is right around the corner, beginning September 26th through September 29th 2013. There is live entertainment, real German food and drinks, beer hoisting contests and many great rewards and door prizes. For five (5) fun-filled hours, everyone on the Island will be enjoying Banyan Tree Brauhaus.

We want our Families to enjoy their stay at the Hale Koa Hotel in Hawaii. This event is the biggest one on the Island, and it is going to be filled with great entertainment for the entire Family. Great food, great company and a great vacation spot. To learn more, visit the Hale Koa Hotel online.
