
New HQ’s for the Army Recreation Machine Program
Renovation/ Construction began on 20 February 1998 and was completed 1 May 1998. Building 1218 Barracks built in 1957, located at Fort Carson, Colorado. The renovation of the third floor included demolition of the old gang style latrines, installing of cables for computers, new transformer to up-grade the power, fire alarm system , painting of the walls and corridor, also the placement of carpet on the office and corridor floors and a completely new outside elevator. New Hq’s facility will be the home to ARMP personnel now located in Germany.

Summary: ARMP Project was under Cost and completed 30 days earlier than scheduled. Using Value Engineering Process on this project enable us to deduct $108,181.00 before the contractor accepted the contract.
