The Marketing Managers' Course is designed to enhance the career knowledge of marketing managers by providing instruction, case studies, hands-on training, role playing, lecture and practical exercises designed to improve their performance and influence the profitability of MWR programs in their realm of influence. The course structure assumes that the student has a general, undergraduate level knowledge of marketing principles. Specific areas covered in the course include marketing needs assessments, market research and analysis techniques, developing a marketing and strategic plan, promotions, commercial sponsorship, relationships with the public affairs office, customer service, human resource management, and financial management and budgeting.

PREREQUISITES:
In addition to those listed under "PREREQUISITES":

Completion of the CFS Management Course. Applicants must occupy a Marketing Manager/Specialist position or be assigned to a trainee position with a target of Marketing Manager. Basic working knowledge of computer word processing and spreadsheet programs.

APPLICATIONS:
Complete the application and mail it to the address indicated so that it arrives at least 60 days prior to the course dates requested. Students selected for a course are notified approximately four weeks prior to the beginning date.
