AND SEND GROCERY GIVEAWAY RULES The FoodSaver “Seal and Send Grocery Giveaway” Sweepstakes promotion is open to the total defense force--Service Members, Retirees, and their families 18 years of age and older who are eligible to shop in military commissaries. Authorized patrons of the military commissary system consist of: Active Duty, Retirees, National Guard, Reserves, DOD sponsored civilians located overseas and dependants of the above. Anyone directly involved with the development of this promotion and the sweepstakes are precluded from winning. Eligibility will be verified prior to announcing winners. To win the “Seal and Send Grocery Giveaway” Sweepstakes grand prize and other prizes, log onto www.armymwr.com/grocerysweepstakes between November 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007 and enter to win one of the following prizes. Grand Prize: One Year of Free Groceries redeemable at any military Commissary valued at $6500. Secondary Prizes: a. (12) $250.00 Commissary Gift Cards/Certificates b. FoodSaver Product – Twelve (12) FoodSaver® V2440 Vacuum packaging systems. Approximate Retail Value $159.99 (each) (Total: $1919.88). Incomplete entry forms are null and void. Forms submitted by ineligible patrons are null and void. Only one entry per person may be submitted during the sweepstakes promotion. No purchase necessary to enter the “Seal and Send Grocery Giveaway” Sweepstakes. Winners will be randomly selected by drawing on or about January 31, 2008. Odds of winning vary based on the number of on-line entries. WINNERS LIST: Winners names will be available on or around February 15, 2008. Log on to: www.armymwr.com/grocerysweepstakes/winners By accepting any of the prizes, the winners agree to hold the United States Government, the U.S. Army Family & MWR Command (FMWRC), the Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Fund (AMWRF) and all Installation Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Funds (IMWRFs) as well as their respective officers, directors, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims arising out of use or misuse of the prize(s). Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. The FMWRC is not responsible for any defective prizes. a. Prizes may not be substituted for cash. However, the FMWRC reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winners’ name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. b. If due to an administrative or computer error, more than one winner for any prize is selected, the prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible claims received. The FMWRC reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. c. The FMWRC is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes. In the event the FMWRC is prevented from continuing with the promotion, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the promotion is severely undermined by any event beyond the Army’s control, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Army’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event), the Army shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion without further obligation. If the Army, in its sole discretion, elects to abbreviate the promotion as a result of a Force Majeure event, the Army reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible game pieces received up to the time of such Force Majeure event. The website will have an opt-in or opt-out feature. Leads generated from online promotion entries will only be provided to the sponsor (FoodSaver) if individuals opt-in to receive further contact from the sponsor. All prizes not claimed by March 01, 2008 will be forfeited. All decisions made by FMWRC regarding this promotion are final.
