(Ages 3 - 18 years) Sports & Fitness programs provide opportunities for children and youth to be engaged in fun physical activities and to develop life-long healthy habits - acquiring the life skills to achieve a balanced lifestyle for mind, body and spirit. A variety of traditional and non-traditional sports, games, and activities teach sportsmanship, team building, goal setting, and self-discipline. Sports and Fitness programs utilize standardized programs and curriculum from the National Alliance for Youth Sports, National 4-H, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Character Counts!

- Team Sports: Traditional and non-traditional sports for children or youth. Teams participate in seasonal non-competitive and competitive leagues coached by trained volunteers.

- Individual Sports: Traditional and non-traditional sports for individual children or youth of all abilities. Individuals participate in non-competitive and competitive events which and are coached by trained volunteers or staff.

- Fitness and Health: Fitness and Health programs for children and youth are facilitated by the CYS Sports & Fitness Director, Program Assistants, Nurses, and trained volunteers.

- Outreach to CYS and Private Sector Organizations: Intramurals and skill building activities for children and youth in partnership with Private Sector Organizations.
