SGT Samuel Stevens (Technician) SGT Stevens enlisted in the Army on April 3, 2003. After Basic Training and AIT he arrived at Fort Hood, Texas and immediately prepared to deploy to Tikrit, Iraq. Upon arrival he was introduced to the 4th ID Band and was chosen as a vocalist. After redeploying in March 2004, he performed at ceremonies, troop returns, dining-ins, private dinners, and large scale productions. In November 2005, the band deployed to Kuwait and SGT Stevens again took the creative reigns and organized a Christmas concert. The band then moved forward to Baghdad, Iraq where they continued performing Christmas Shows and a New Years’ Spectacular, which aired on FOX News Live. He would like to thank his parents for their unfailing support, his sisters for their encouragement and prayers and his wife for helping him tackle two deployments and for her love. He would like to thank Jesus Christ, for all of his accomplishments are because of Him.
