Battle of Bands and Stars of Tomorrow
The Department of the Army Battle of Bands and Stars of Tomorrow Entertainment Competition are two distinct Army wide entertainment competitions held at the DA level.
The Battle of Bands is an Army wide competition where amatuer soldier recreation bands after being identified through installation and MACOM competitions compete for various awards, prizes, and recognition. The Stars of Tomorrow entertainment competition is the Army's version of "Star Search" where soloists, instrumentalists, dancers, actors and other small groups can compete for awards, prizes, and recognition. Participants are identified through installation and MACOM competitions. Please see the link to the left for the latest DA Memorandum for the upcoming competition.
