Directions:From I-20 East or West take I-77 South to Exit 9 to Rt. 262, Leesburg Rd. From I-26 East (Exit 115) and West (Exit 116) take I-77 North to Exit 9. It is 9.1 miles to Weston Lake Recreation Area sign. From Sumter on 378 exit at US-601 North to Leesburg Road on the left approx. 6 miles. It is 7.1 miles to the recreation sign on the right.

AFB, 37 miles South. Nearest Major City: Columbia 35 miles southwest. Off
Interstate 20, exit 98, take SC Hwy 521 north to intersect SC Hwy 97 for nine
miles, then left turn for Lake Wateree access.

bordering Lake Wateree. Full range of support facilities available at Shaw
AFB and Columbia's Fort Jackson.
ELIGIBILITY: Active/Retired/Reserves/ANG/DOD Civilians
SUPPORT FACILITIES: Retail Store, Bathhouse, Boat Launch, Boat Rental, Water
Sports, Fishing Bait, Grills, Boat Storage, Boat Docks, Restrooms, Ice,
Fishing, Pavilions, Playground, Boat Gas Pump, Ski Rental, Pontoons, Dump
Station, Showers.

Directions: From I-95, take exit 135, SC378W approximately 26
miles to Shaw AFB. From I-20, take exit 98, SC521S to SC441 to Shaw AFB.
Nearest Major City: Sumter, SC, approximately 10 miles. Check in at
Outdoor Recreation, 1 FAM Camp Drive. Late arrivals check in next morning.

RESTRICTIONS: Pets are allowed in area, but must be kept on leash. Quiet hours 2300 - 0700
daily. All firearms must be registered with security police upon arrival on base. Check in time
1200/Check out time 1100. Maximum stay is 30 days.
Note: The
Outdoor Recreation Office is not open Saturday afternoon or Sunday during the
winter. You can still register & pay with envelopes, or you can wait until
they reopen on Monday AM. There is a nice little lounge indoors (during business
hours) with phone that you can use for e-mail.
