ARCHERY

a.  Currently hold a top-16 ranking on the USA Archery Senior Recurve Ranking List.

  

b.  Finished in the top-3 in a Full FITA, 70 Meter Round, or Olympic Round of any USA Archery sanctioned national championship competition in Recurve within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application. 

 

 

BOXING

a.  Finished in the top-8 at the U.S. National Championship within the past 2 years. 

 

b.  Finished in the top-8 at the National Golden Gloves Championship within the past 2 years. 

 

c.  Finished in the top-4 at the National Police Athletic League Championship within the past 2 years.
 

 

d.  Finished in the top-2 at the Junior National Golden Gloves Championship or the Junior Olympics National Championship within the past 2 years. 

 

e.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

 
 

CANOE/KAYAK

A current member of the U.S. Senior National Team for either Flatwater Sprint or Whitewater Slalom; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team coach.

 

 

DIVING
A current member of the U.S. Senior National Team for Diving; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team coach.

 

FENCING

a.  Currently hold a top-4 ranking on the USA Fencing Senior Team Points Standings.

 

b.  Qualified for any team to represent the U.S. at a Senior World Championship, Pan-American Games, or World University Games within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application in the sport of Fencing.

 

 

GYMNASTICS

A current member of the U.S. Senior National Team for Gymnastics and eligible for the resident athlete program at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team coach.

 

 

JUDO

a.  Hold a current top-6 ranking on the USA Judo Senior National Ranking List in an Olympic Weight Class and have at least a C-Level Senior Classification rating.

b.  Finished in the top-3 of the USA Judo Senior National Championship within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

c.  Currently hold a top-3 ranking on the IJF Junior National Ranking List.

 

 

MODERN PENTATHLON

a.  Hold a current top-3 ranking on the USA Pentathlon Men’s or Women’s Senior Individual Pentathlon Points System (IPPS) Ranking List.

 

b.  Qualified to represent the United States at the Modern Pentathlon Junior World Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

 

ROWING

A current member of the U.S. Senior National Team for rowing and eligible for the resident athlete program at the Princeton Training Center in Princeton, NJ; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team coach.

 

 

SWIMMING

a.  Top-24 finish at the 2008 Olympic Trials or the 2009 ConocoPhillips  USA Swimming National Championships (World Championship Trials) in an Olympic Swimming event.

 

b.  Selected to the USA Swimming National Youth Team in an Olympic Swimming event within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

 

SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING

A current member of the U.S. Senior or Junior National Team for Synchronized Swimming; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team coach.

 

 

SHOOTING

a.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

b. Scored one of the below point totals in a CONUS competition sanctioned by USA Shooting or an OCONUS competition sanctioned by the ISF within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application:

 

Men

     a.  Score 1160 points in 50m 3-Position Rifle

     b.  Score 592 points in 50m Rifle Prone

     c.  Score 590 points in 10m Air Rifle

     d.  Score 118 points in Skeet

     e.  Score 113 points in Trap

     f.  Score 130 points in Double Trap

     g.  Score 545 points in 50m Free Pistol

     h.  Score 575 points in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol

     i.  Score 570 points in 10m Air Pistol

 

Women

     a.  Score 573 points in 50m 3-Position Rifle

     b.  Score 391 points in 10m Air Rifle

     c.  Score 66 points in Skeet

     d.  Score 62 points in Trap

     e.  Score 574 point in 25m Sport Pistol

     f.  Score 378 points in 10m Air Pistol

 

 

TAEKWONDO

a.  Finished in the top-2 at the U.S. National Team Trials within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

b.  Finished in the top-2 at the University National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Finished in the top-2 at the U.S. National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

d. Finished in the top-3 at the CISM World Championship within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

e.  Qualified to represent the U.S. at the World Championships, Pan-American Games, or the World University Games within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

f.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

 

TEAM SPORTS

(Team Handball; Field Hockey; Soccer, Volleyball; Water Polo)

Tried out for and selected for the Senior U.S. National Team during 2009-2012; by-name selection must be made by the Senior U.S. National Team Coach.

TRIATHLON

a.  Currently hold an ITU Points List Ranking of 120 or better.

 

b.  One top-3 finish or three top-10 finishes within 5% of the winners’ time at an ITU Continental Cup Race in North America within one year of the WCAP application.

 

c.  A top-4 finish at the USA Triathlon Elite, U23, Junior (ITU format) or Collegiate National Championship within two years of the WCAP application.

 

d.  A member of the Elite, U23, or Junior World Championship Team within two years of the WCAP application.

 

 

WEIGHTLIFTING – OLYMPIC STYLE

a.  Qualified to compete at the USA Weightlifting Senior National Championship in an Olympic weight class within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

b.  Qualified for any team to represent the U.S. at a Senior World Championship, Pan-American Games, or World University Games within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

 

WRESTLING


Greco-Roman Wrestling

a.  Currently hold a top-5 rank on the USA Wrestling rankings for senior wrestlers.

 

b.  Finished in the top-2 at the University National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Finished in the top-2 at the NCAA or NJCAA National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

d.  Finished in the top-5 of a class “A” wrestling tournament within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

e.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

 

Men’s Freestyle Wrestling

a. Currently hold a top-5 rank on the USA Wrestling rankings for senior wrestlers.

 

b.  Finished in the top-2 at the University National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Finished in the top-2 at the NCAA or NJCAA National Championships within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

d.  Finished in the top-5 of a class “A” wrestling tournament within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

e.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.

 

Women’s Freestyle Wrestling

a.  Currently hold a top-3 rank in an Olympic Weight Class on the USA Wrestling rankings for senior wrestlers.

 

b.  Finished in the top-3 of a class “A” wrestling tournament within the past 2 years prior to the WCAP application.

 

c.  Competed in the Olympic Games held immediately prior to the date of the Soldier’s WCAP application.
