Unit Level and Intramural Sports Programs

Tackle a new sport or get better at one you already enjoy with Army Intramural Sports programs. We encourage participation by units and provide instruction, practice and competition opportunities for all skill levels.

When you participate in an intramural sport, you develop your teamwork skills and competitive spirit. At the same time, you’re maintaining your physical fitness and your unit’s readiness.
The Garrison Intramural Sports Program offers broad-based team and individual sports based on Soldier interest, installation Senior and Mission Commander desires, availability of garrison sport facilities, unit mission requirements and local climate. Unit level Intramural leagues emphasize sports that promote group participation with a wide appeal; such as softball, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and soccer. The Garrison Intramural Sports Program is conducted year-round.
