The top 12 Operation Rising Star Finalists will now advance to the Finals (airing on this website and the Pentagon Channel, beginning 11 December). 
The top 12 will need audience votes to help advance them in each round of the competition. 
The audience will be able to vote online and the votes will count for 50% of the competitors' final score.

TOP 12 FINALIST

2LT Adam Bishop Fort Huachuca, Arizona 2LT Adam Bishop is originally from Fort Wayne, IN.  Bishop was the male lead in his high school musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie and sung cadences to his BOLC class.  A couple of his musical influences are Michael Buble and Brad Paisley.  Q: What genre of music is your favorie? A:  Sleeping to Dream by Jason Mraz Q:  What importance has music played in your life? A:  Keeping me sane while driving 42 hours to Fort Huachuca from NY.

Operation Rising Star is a vocal competition hosted by US Army Family and MWR Programs. Army Garrisons from around the world hosted competitions in the summer of 2011.  Twelve of the top contestants from around the Army were selected by a panel of judges to advance to the Final competition, airing on this website, beginning 11 December 2011.
