
The top 12 Operation Rising Star Finalists will now advance to the Finals (airing on this website and the Pentagon Channel, beginning 11 December).
The top 12 will need audience votes to help advance them in each round of the competition.
The audience will be able to vote online and the votes will count for 50% of the competitors' final score.

SSG Octavia Nickle, USAF
Joint Base San Antonio, Texas
SSG Octavia Nickle is in the Air Force and is originally from Stafford, VA. One of her greatest successes in music to date is becoming a member and lead singer for "The Monster Garage Band" while deployed. Nickle played bass in high school and was also in gospel choirs.

A: Soft Rock; Ballads
Q: When did you realize you had a talent for singing?
A: Around 7/8 years old in church
