Off Post. 25 miles from Fort Gordon. From I-20 east or west, take exit 183 (Appling) to GA-47 north to Washinton Rd. Left on Washington Rd. to Recreation Area.

Reservations: Required for cabins. Not accepted for camping.


Note:
Pets allowed in campground on leash. $30.00 pet fee in cabins and trailers. Bath house available. No dump station. Discounts for Golden Age and Golden Access Passports on fully hook-up sites.

Fort Benning - Uchee Creek Army Campground

Reservations: Accepted (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) and can be made M-F, 0900-1600. On site camp host until midnight nightly(EST).

Prices are: E-6 and above / E-5 and below

Facilities: Grill, Meeting Room, Marina, Lodge, Country Store, Laundromats, Basketball & Volleyball Courts, Softball Fields, RV Rally Site and Activity Center (seating for 500). Each site and cabin has phone and cable TV/VCR. Handicap facilities are available.

Note: On the southwestern side of Fort Benning, is a place where trees grow tall and the water of an inviting inlet flows deep and cool. Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina is located in a secure and attractive environment and offers 85 sites specifically designed for the RV. All back-in sites are a minimum of 65 feet deep; pull through sites are longer. All sites have 50 amp and 30 amp plug-ins plus two 110v outlets, water and sewage. For water and electric sites, we provide a dump station. Uchee Creek is a place where you can spend a weekend or an entire vacation enjoying the natural beauty of the scenic Chattahoochee River.


Fort Stewart - Holbrook Recreation Area

Directions:

If coming on I-95 take Exit 90. Go approximately 15 miles on Hwy 144 West. Turn left at Holbrook Recreation Area. You will go approximately ¼ mile to stop sign. Holbrook Recreation registration office is on the right. If after hours proceed straight to campground. Call for directions if coming I-95 North. If arrival is after 1730, proceed straight to campground. Register with camp host at site 01.

Reservations: Accepted. Reservations can be made Thursday - Monday, 1100-1750. Office is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.


Facilities:
Each Site has its own fire ring and grill. Also available: Picnic Area, Meeting Pavilion, Laundry Facility, Bath House, TV/Gathering Room, Computer Access with Free Local Phone Calls. Volleyball Courts. Holbrook Recreation has Hunting, Fishing, Skeet Range, Hiking, We offer our Campers organized Campground Activities (Picnics/Tours). POV Storage of your RV available at Holbrook Recreation.

Area: Nestled between majestic Pine Trees and Holbrook Pond on the southeast side of Fort Stewart, we are managed by the Department of Natural Resources in Georgia, Holbrook offers privacy at natures best. We have a dump station available 24 hours a day. We also offer portable dump at your site on a scheduled day at a nominal charge. Our area attractions include: Savannah, Tybee Island.

Note: Pets are welcome but must be controlled by their owners and kept on a leash. All pet droppings require clean up by owner. Firearms must be controlled. Georgia fishing license is required to fish Holbrook Pond. Gold Age Passport is half off regular rates.

I-95 to Exit 204. Go east for seven (7) miles. After you cross the bridge turn left and you will proceed thru Main Gate.

Reservations: Reservations not accepted.


Note:
The nearest restrooms to the campground are located at the boat dock and picnic area. Cold water only; no showers. Showers are available at the post gym. Hardshell campers, tents and camping equipment are available for rent. Pets are allowed in campground but must be kept on a leash and attended. Maximum 90 days stay within a 180 day period. Bass Pro Shop and malls are located outside the gate.

Lake Allatoona Navy Recreation Area

Dobbins AFB Lakeside FAM Camp

Directions:

On Base. I-75 south of Marietta, exit to GA-280, take 280 to Atlanta Rd and turn left, proceed to General Rd and turn left, continue to Patrol Rd and turn right. Enter Gate 2 of Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Gate open M-F, 0600-1700 hrs. You cannot enter thru the front gate with campers.

Reservations: No advance reservations.


Note:
Bathhouse is available with coin washers/dryers. Sewage dump is available. Pets allowed on leash. RV Storage available.

Moody AFB - Grassy Pond Recreation Area

Directions:

Exit I-75 at Exit 5 onto SR-376 West. Follow SR-376 approx 0.8 miles and turn left onto Loch Laurel Rd.. Follow Loch Laurel South approx. 1.5 miles and turn left onto Grassy Pond Rd. for approx. 0.3 miles to campground.

Reservations: Call for availability.


Note:
14 sites are "prime" sites and 4 are "overflow" sites. Boats w or w/o motors and paddle boats available for rental. Check-in time is 1400 and check-out 1100. Check-in is at Bldg 2019, just past the camping area, but pull into the campground and drop trailer or occupy site first, then go register due to limited turn around space at registration office. Each site has metal picnic table and concrete slab for table and has a fire ring and BBQ grill. Pay washers & dryers are available at camp. Moody AFB is about 25 miles North East, past Valdosta.

On base. From I-75 north or south, take exit 146 east onto GA-247C (Watson Blvd.) to AFB entrance. RV's must enter thru commercial truck gate.

Reservations: Three (3) RV spaces can be reserved. Fifteen (15) RV spaces are first come first served.

Bathhouse available. Pay washer/dryer available. Pets allowed on leash.
