Eligibility: AD, NG, Reservists, Retired, 100% DAV, Dep, DoD Civilians must call for availability.

Directions: From North or South, take NJ Tpke to Exit 7 (Fort Dix), turn on Rt. 206 South, (Take Jug-Handle on right) 0.5 miles to Rt. 68. Rt. 68 will provide entrance to the Installation, next to main gate is the SSG. Terry Hemingway Reception Center is located. Once inside the gate, drive through traffic circle, and take the first exit out of circle. Follow road to a stop sign/flashing light and make a right onto New Jersey Ave. Take left onto 8th Street thereafter. Follow 8th Street until you there is a sharp bend in the road, and then make left to Willow Pond RV Campground. Office- Once you take a left onto 8th street

Notes: Located on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Enjoy the biking and hiking trails, as well as Freshwater fishing right at your Campground. Local attractions include Six flags Amusement Park and Hurricane Harbor. The installation is within 40 miles of Philadelphia and 75 of New York City.

At the post gas station I saw a vehicle, with a young girl driving it, stop to fill up at the pump next to me. I noticed a small flag in the window with two blue stars on it, and assumed that the stars reflected the rank of the Soldier that owned the vehicle.
