Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation's (MWR) vision is to be a team of professionals providing Soldiers and Families quality programs and services, that promote resiliency and strengthen our Army.



Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation provides programs and services supporting Soldiers, Families, and Civilians of America's Army.


Family and MWR headquarters staff is comprised of more than 500 Family and MWR professionals who provide support to Soldiers, Families and the more than 33,000 personnel who comprise the Family and MWR workforce, worldwide.



Family and MWR programs, services and activities offer Soldiers and Families opportunities to enrich their lives culturally and creatively.  Our programs relieve stress, build strength and resilience, and help the Army Family stay physically,  mentally, and financially fit.
