Golf

The Army’s MWR maintains and operates 48 separate golf courses around the globe for enjoyment by golfers of all levels. Army courses may be found throughout the US, Hawaii, Alaska, and overseas locations such as Japan, Korea, and Europe. Each of these golf courses provide a variety of products and services to meet your golfing needs on a daily basis.

The fifty-four golf courses include layouts of varying sizes including nine hole, eighteen hole, twenty-seven holes, and even thirty-six hole courses. These facilities function at high levels of participation, accommodating nearly two million rounds of golf each year. These numbers continue to increase as golf remains one of the fastest growing sports.

As golf is a “game for a lifetime” with focus on family participation, programs are available to promote accessibility and grow the game of golf. These programs include Junior Golf, Men’s and Ladies Leagues, as well as “Get Golf Ready.” Each of our Army golf courses hosts tournaments and events throughout the year for added excitement. Each course also offers individual and group golf lessons for all age groups and skill levels. Efforts are being made at each of the facilities to promote play for veterans as well.

Each of the Army golf courses offers a variety of products and services to allow for a “first choice” golfing experience. The Pro Shops offer name brand clothing, accessories, and equipment at competitive prices. In addition, many of the Army Golf Courses offer additional amenities, such as driving ranges, practice greens and restaurants.

All of the Army golf courses are maintained at quality levels to ensure that your golfing experience is one to remember. Each course is designed to promote the surrounding environment, create picturesque scenery, as well as test your skill. We invite you to take full advantage of your local MWR Golfing Facility where ever you’re stationed and we are looking forward to seeing you on the links.
