Army Athlete and Coach of the Year

Recognizing the outstanding Male and Female Soldier-Athlete and Coach who exhibits athletic excellence, sportsmanship, integrity and professional character, IMCOM Sports, Fitness and Aquatics staff awards the Male and Female Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year.

Soldier-Athlete refers to Male and Female Soldiers who compete in Garrison intramural athletics, varsity sports and/or All Army Sports.

Coach refers to Male and Female Soldiers who manage and train Soldier-Athletes in Garrison intramural athletics, varsity sports and/or All Army.

Awardees are selected from a pool of nominations received from Garrison Sports Directors and IMCOM Sports, Fitness and Aquatics staff.

5/24/2013 Installation Management Command gets SHARP on sexual harassment

Workers at U.S. Army Installation Management Command headquarters began their week May 20 with a previously unscheduled but mandatory three-hour session of Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention training.

A veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam Wars received a standing ovation from troops of another generation May 17 at Fort Sam Houston Theatre.
