2022 U.S. Army Soldier-Olympians 

Nine Soldiers from the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) have been selected to represent the U.S. Army and Team USA at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China from February 04-20, 2022.  Journey with our Solider- athletes as they compete at the Olympics Games on a quest for Olympic Glory.

Two Soldier-athletes compete in Nordic combined at the 2022 Winter Olympics

Two Nordic Combined Soldier-athletes assigned to the World Class Athlete Program were named to Team USA for the sport, and competed in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Spc. Benjamin Loomis, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and Spc. Jasper Good, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, both were named to the team of four, joining civilian athletes Taylor Fletcher, and Jared Shumate.

U.S. Army Sgt. Emily Sweeney, a World Class Athlete Program Soldier-athlete and military police officer, punched her ticket to the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing on January 10, when she was named to the 2022 U.S. Olympic luge team.
