Installation Management Command, G-9, Marketing, on behalf of the Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund (the NAFI), is offering the “#ArmyMWRCares Facebook Contests presented by USAA” (the “Contest”). The contest is subject to these official rules, and by entering, entrant (“Entrant”) agrees to be bound by them and the decisions of the NAFI, which are final and binding in all respects. These contests will begin after 12 noon CST on Monday, May 11, 2020 until 9:59am CST each subsequent Monday. Weekly contest will run consecutively for eight weeks (May 11th, May 18th, May 25th, June 1st, June 8th, June 15th Jun 22nd and Jun 29th) ending on Monday, July 6, 2020. The Facebook timestamp is the official timekeeping device for entry in the contest.
1. Eligibility: Authorized MWR patrons age 18 and older (see Army regulation, AR 215-1, chapter 7) are eligible to enter, with the exception of Army MWR employees and other individuals engaged in the development and implementation or direct execution of this promotion, to include the marketing staff and Army senior leadership.
2. How To Enter: Entrants wishing to enter the contest may do so by commenting as specified in the weekly #ArmyMWRCares, presented by USAA Facebook contest post. Once the Entrant has commented and fulfilled any other requirements for the week (e.g. submitting a photo, or answer) in the comments section of the post, their entry will be counted as submitted. The Entrant will receive one (1) entry into the contest. Limit one (1) entry per Facebook username per week.
One (1) “E-gift card” valued at $50 to one winner each week for eight weeks.
4. Winner Selection and Notification: On or about Monday mornings, no later than 11:59 am CST of each week of the Contest the potential “Winner” will be determined via a random drawing, from all Eligible Entries received. The potential Winner will be notified within three (3) business days of the drawing. The potential Winner will be notified via Facebook through a comment requesting an email be sent from the winner to a joint email address for G9 Marketing (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via Facebook Instant Messenger. The potential Winner will be required to complete, sign, and return documentation required by the NAFI — including Verification of Eligibility, Prize Acceptance, Liability and Publicity Release form.
If the potential Winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted or fails to respond within three (3) days of the date of notification, the potential Winner forfeits the prize, and an alternate Winner will be randomly drawn from all remaining Eligible Entries. If the alternate potential Winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize is forfeited and another alternate potential Winner will be randomly drawn from all remaining Eligible Entries. This potential Winner selection and notification process shall be continued until one (1) Prize Winner is confirmed. If a prize or a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential Winner will be randomly drawn.
